If the court appoints referees pursuant to Section 873.010, each referee, in addition to any other requirements and disqualifications applicable to referees, shall be disinterested and impartial and not a party to or a participant in the action.
Notes
Requires every referee appointed by the court under the referenced partition provision to be disinterested and impartial and not to be a party to or participant in the action. These conditions apply in addition to all other requirements and disqualifications that otherwise govern referees appointed in the proceeding.
