California Codes, Code of Civil Procedure - CCP, Part 2 — Of Civil Actions, Title 10 — Actions in Particular Cases, Chapter 1 — Actions for the Foreclosure of Mortgages, Section 730.5

Except as otherwise provided by Section 9604 of the Commercial Code, none of the provisions of this chapter or of Section 580a, 580b, 580c, or 580d applies to any security interest in personal property or fixtures governed by the Commercial Code.

Notes

Exempts security interests in personal property or fixtures governed by the Commercial Code from the provisions of this chapter and from the specified related sections concerning mortgage or deficiency matters. The exemption applies except as otherwise provided by the cited Commercial Code section.
