When the verdict is announced, if it is informal or insufficient, in not covering the issue submitted, it may be corrected by the jury under the advice of the Court, or the jury may be again sent out.
Notes
Allows an announced verdict that is informal or insufficient because it does not cover the submitted issue to be corrected by the jury under the court’s advice. Alternatively, the court may send the jury out again rather than accept the defective verdict as announced.
