California Codes, Code of Civil Procedure - CCP, Part 2 — Of Civil Actions, Title 9 — Enforcement of Judgments, Division 1 — Definitions and General Provisions, Chapter 3 — Period for Enforcement and Renewal of Judgments, Article 1 — Period for Enforcement of Judgments, Section 683.010

Except as otherwise provided by statute or in the judgment, a judgment is enforceable under this title upon entry.

Notes

Sets entry of judgment as the default point when a judgment becomes enforceable under the title. That immediate enforceability applies except when another statute or the judgment itself provides otherwise, so either an express statutory rule or a term of the judgment may delay or alter enforcement.
