California Codes, Code of Civil Procedure - CCP, Part 2 — Of Civil Actions, Title 9 — Enforcement of Judgments, Division 1 — Definitions and General Provisions, Chapter 3 — Period for Enforcement and Renewal of Judgments, Article 1 — Period for Enforcement of Judgments, Section 683.030

If a money judgment is payable in installments, the 10-year period of enforceability prescribed by Section 683.020 runs as to each installment from the date the installment becomes due and runs as to costs from the date the costs are added to the judgment pursuant to Section 685.090.

Notes

Sets the 10-year enforceability period for an installment money judgment separately for each installment, beginning when that installment becomes due. For costs added to the judgment, the 10-year period begins on the date the costs are added under the referenced enforcement-cost provision rather than on the original judgment date.
