The levying officer may not be a purchaser or have an interest in any purchase at a sale.
Notes
Prohibits the levying officer from purchasing property at a sale conducted under the applicable enforcement procedures or from having any interest in a purchase made at that sale. The bar applies both to direct acquisition by the officer and to any interest the officer might hold in another purchase.
