A voter who casts a vote in an election in accordance with the laws of this State shall have that vote counted.

Notes

Requires every vote cast in an election in accordance with California law to be counted. The protection applies whenever a voter follows the State’s election laws and makes counting that lawfully cast vote a mandatory duty in the official election process.
