The Legislature or either house may by resolution provide for the selection of committees necessary for the conduct of its business, including committees to ascertain facts and make recommendations to the Legislature on a subject within the scope of legislative control.

Notes

Allows the Legislature or either house, by resolution, to create and select committees needed to conduct legislative business. Those committees may include bodies assigned to determine facts and make recommendations concerning subjects that fall within the scope of legislative control.
