A temporary appointment may be made to a position for which there is no employment list. No person may serve in one or more positions under temporary appointment longer than 9 months in 12 consecutive months.

Notes

Allows a temporary appointment to a position when no employment list exists for that position. Limits any person’s service under one or more temporary appointments to a combined maximum of nine months in total within any period of 12 consecutive months.
