This chapter does not prohibit provisions of the services regulated herein with or without compensation or personal profit, when done by the tenets of any well-recognized church or denomination, so long as they do not otherwise engage in the practice set forth in the chapter.

Exempts services regulated by the psychiatric-technicians chapter from its prohibitions when provided, with or without compensation or personal profit, according to the tenets of a well-recognized church or denomination. The exemption applies only so long as the persons providing those services do not otherwise engage in the practice regulated by the chapter.
