Any person who violates Section 2570.3 is guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall be punished by a fine of not more than five thousand dollars ($5,000), or by imprisonment of not more than one year in a county jail, or by both that fine and imprisonment.

Notes

Sets a violation of the specified occupational-therapy practice provision as a misdemeanor punishable, upon conviction, by a fine of up to $5,000, imprisonment for up to one year in county jail, or both. The provision authorizes either penalty separately or the monetary and jail penalties together within those maximums.
