Except as provided by Section 159.5, the board may employ, within the limits of the funds received by the board, all personnel necessary to carry out this chapter.

Notes

Allows the board, subject to Section 159.5, to employ all personnel necessary to carry out the chapter, but only within the limits of funds the board receives. The employment authority therefore covers personnel the board considers necessary for chapter administration while remaining constrained by the referenced provision and available board funds.
