The board shall issue a certificate to practice nurse-midwifery to any person who qualifies under this article and is licensed pursuant to the provisions of this chapter.

Notes

Requires the board to issue a certificate authorizing nurse-midwifery practice to a person who qualifies under the governing article and is licensed under the chapter. The certification duty applies when the applicant satisfies both the article's nurse-midwifery qualifications and the chapter's licensure requirement.
