It is unlawful for any person or persons to advertise, use any title, sign, card, or device, or to otherwise hold himself or herself out as a “nurse anesthetist” unless the person meets the requirements of subdivision (a) of Section 2826 and has been so certified under the provisions of this article.

Prohibits any person from advertising, using a title, sign, card, or device, or otherwise holding themselves out as a “nurse anesthetist” unless the person meets the requirements of the referenced subdivision and has been certified under the article. Makes meeting both the stated requirements and certification conditions necessary for use of that professional title.
