California Codes, Business and Professions Code - BPC, Division 3 — Professions and Vocations Generally, Chapter 12.5 — Geologists and Geophysicists, Article 4 — Registration, Section 7847
The board, upon application therefor, on its prescribed form, and upon the payment of the fee fixed by this chapter, which shall be retained by the board, may issue a certificate of registration as a geologist or as a geophysicist to a person holding an equivalent certificate of registration as a geologist or as a geophysicist, issued to him or her by any state or country when the applicant’s qualifications meet the other requirements of this chapter and the rules established by the board.
Notes
Allows the board, upon application on its prescribed form and payment of the chapter-set fee, to issue California geologist or geophysicist registration to a person holding an equivalent registration from another state or country. Requires the applicant’s qualifications also to satisfy the chapter’s other requirements and the board’s rules.
