California Codes, Business and Professions Code - BPC, Division 3 — Professions and Vocations Generally, Chapter 12.5 — Geologists and Geophysicists, Article 4 — Registration, Section 7850
Any applicant for licensure as a professional geologist who meets all the requirements prescribed in Section 7841 and who has otherwise qualified hereunder as a geologist shall have a certificate of registration issued to him or her as a professional geologist.
Notes
Requires issuance of a professional geologist certificate of registration to an applicant who meets all qualifications prescribed in the cited provision and has otherwise qualified as a geologist under the chapter. The duty to issue the certificate arises only after the applicant satisfies both the referenced requirements and the chapter’s other applicable qualifications.
