Any licensee whose license is under suspension may make application for renewal of his or her license as provided in this article, but the board may not renew his or her license until the suspension has been lifted.
Notes
Allows a licensee whose license is suspended to apply for renewal in the manner provided by the article, but bars the board from actually renewing the license until the suspension has been lifted. The provision therefore permits the renewal application during suspension while conditioning issuance of the renewal on the suspension ending.
