Any person who fails to comply with the provisions of this chapter or of the regulations made pursuant to this chapter is guilty of a misdemeanor and punishable by a fine not exceeding one thousand dollars ($1,000) or by imprisonment not exceeding six months, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
Notes
Establishes failure to comply with the chapter or regulations adopted under it as a misdemeanor. A violator may be punished by a fine of up to $1,000, imprisonment for up to six months, or both, applying the stated criminal penalty to noncompliance with either the statutory provisions or implementing regulations.
