“Sell” includes selling, offering for sale or advertising for sale.

Notes

Defines “sell” to include not only completing a sale but also offering an item for sale and advertising an item for sale. The term therefore reaches the listed pre-sale commercial conduct whenever this chapter uses “sell,” so an offer or advertisement for sale is included even before an actual transfer or completed sales transaction occurs.
