“Give” includes giving, offering to give or advertising the intent to give.

Defines give for purposes of the chapter to include not only actually giving something, but also offering to give it and advertising an intention to give it. The term therefore expressly covers each of those three stated forms: giving, offering to give, and advertising the intent to give.
