This chapter does not apply to upholstered furniture, bedding, or insulation manufactured and sold at wholesale in California for delivery outside the borders of this state.

Notes

Exempts upholstered furniture, bedding, and insulation from the chapter when the products are both manufactured and sold at wholesale in California for delivery outside California. The exemption therefore applies to the described in-state manufacture and wholesale sale when the stated destination is beyond the state’s borders.
