A mere possibility, not coupled with an interest, cannot be transferred.

Prohibits transfer of a mere possibility when that possibility is not coupled with an interest. The provision states only this transfer restriction and does not describe a separate procedure, deadline, monetary amount, or exception under which an unconnected possibility may nevertheless be transferred.
