An offer of performance must be made in good faith, and in such manner as is most likely, under the circumstances, to benefit the creditor.

Requires an offer of performance to be made in good faith and in the manner most likely, under the circumstances, to benefit the creditor. The validity of the offer therefore depends both on the offeror’s good faith and on using a method reasonably suited to the creditor’s benefit.
