A debtor has a right to require from his creditor a written receipt for any property delivered in performance of his obligation.

Notes

Allows a debtor to require the creditor to provide a written receipt for property delivered in performance of the debtor’s obligation. The right applies when property is actually delivered as performance and gives the debtor documentary acknowledgment from the creditor that the property was received.
