California Codes, Code of Civil Procedure - CCP, Part 2 — Of Civil Actions, Title 9 — Enforcement of Judgments, Division 1 — Definitions and General Provisions, Chapter 3 — Period for Enforcement and Renewal of Judgments, Article 2 — Renewal of Judgments, Section 683.210

A judgment may be renewed notwithstanding any stay of enforcement of the judgment, but the renewal of the judgment does not affect the stay of enforcement.

Notes

Allows a judgment to be renewed even while enforcement of that judgment is stayed. The renewal itself does not end, modify, or otherwise affect the existing stay of enforcement, so the judgment may be renewed while the stay continues to govern enforcement.
