All persons who at the time this Code takes effect hold office under any of the Acts repealed, continue to hold the same according to the tenure thereof, except those offices which are not continued by one of the Codes adopted at this session of the Legislature.

Notes

Extends the tenure of persons holding office under repealed acts when the Code takes effect, allowing them to continue holding the same offices according to their existing tenure. Exempts offices that are not continued by one of the Codes adopted at the same legislative session; those offices do not receive the continuation stated here.
