All authorized officers of the law, while investigating violations of this chapter in performance of their official duties, and any person working under their immediate direction, supervision, or instruction are immune from prosecution under this chapter.

Notes

Exempts authorized officers of the law from prosecution under the chapter while they investigate chapter violations in the performance of official duties. The same immunity applies to any person working under those officers’ immediate direction, supervision, or instruction during the investigation.
